5 BEST ITEMS/CATEGORIES AT ALDIS
So, I am a major couponer/penny pincher. I like to get the cheapest price but also good quality. This is why I LOVE Aldi’s. Honestly, this would be about Lidl but Aldi is 5 minutes closer to my house.
ANY CONDIMENTS
Jelly, peanut butter, ketchup, mustard, you name it; they are all around $1. They all taste perfectly good and have the same ingredients as name brands. Now, I will say if you are picky about your peanut butter then get Jiff, lol.
DIAPERS/WIPES/BABY FOOD
Aldi’s is hands down the best and cheapest options for diapers. We don’t have any problems with leakage and they don’t bother my little baby’s cute cheeks at all. With food, I’m sure there are some of you that don’t trust their baby food brand but they have been great for us. I did use pouches for a short time but I switched to giving him all fresh foods because let's face it all baby food pouches have too much sugar. I mean what is with the two fruits one vegetable ratio they all have going on? They have these crunchy baby fries that my boy goes nuts over! Their puffs are also very cheap, but I will say don’t give your baby the expensive brand then switch lol. He will know the difference. Start with the Aldi brand because ingredients are the same, just not as good taste. But I mean they are babies they don’t know better so who cares.
MEAT/SEAFOOD
Alright, there are a few out there who don’t trust Aldi brand but it is the only way that my family eats well for our budget. They have the best family packs for chicken breast, chicken tenderloins, and ground beef. Yes, they are big packs so when you get home divide and freeze whatever you won’t be using that week. The other day I got a 5 ½ pound tray of ground beef for 15 DOLLARS. I had to spell out dollars because that’s a great price man! We loooooove seafood, but it can be very expensive. You can get 4 frozen salmon fillets for $3.99, and a bag of shrimp for $6. That is the best price you will get anywhere and they taste great. At Target the same amount of Salmon is 14 DOLLARS! Literally a ten dollar difference. Bacon and turkey bacon are also great prices with great taste.
DAIRY PRODUCTS
Milk and eggs are hands down the cheapest anywhere. Sometimes their milk is only 49 cents a gallon which is ridiculous if you go through milk like we do. And eggs are as low as 29 cents. I can 100% vogue for the eggs because I’ve made cookie dough with Aldi’s eggs and eaten the raw batter countless times; never gotten sick. Cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream you name it is the best price and great quality.
TOILET PAPER/TOWELS
Again best prices for quantity and quality. Don’t have to say much about this.Okay, I know this says 5 best but I had to do an extra one for their weekly finds. There are the freaking best. I got these reusable snack size storage bags. There were only $5 and dishwasher safe! Ahhhh the joy that filled my heart when I saw those on the shelf. They have so much good stuff in that aisle. Candles are great scents and only $3.99 as well! If you didn’t already shop at Aldi’s after that last sentence I don’t see why you wouldn’t unless you are a candle snob.
